ADX > 25 flags coins whose Average Directional Index — a 14-period measure of trend strength — is above 25. ADX does not say which way a market is heading; it measures only how strongly it is trending, with readings above 25 conventionally marking a trend worth trading and readings below 20 signalling a range.
This signal is direction-agnostic by design, which is why it appears in both the bullish and bearish sections. Use it as a gate: a breakout or crossover backed by a high ADX has real force behind it, while the same setup in a low-ADX environment is more likely to stall and reverse.
